&lt;p&gt;About buybacks...Corporations aren't doing many buybacks nowdays. Even the ones with cash don't want to risk throwing it away as the knife keeps falling through early 2008 here.  It will be interesting to see quarter end reports here in a few months.&lt;/p&gt;
